Kasarla Vinay Kumar is an agri-business and rural development professional with 15+ years of experience across agri-business, Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs), agri-value chains, market linkages, financial services, programme management, and rural development initiatives. His professional journey spans corporate agri-business, development programmes, agri-financial services, and agriculture consulting, giving him a broad understanding of the agriculture ecosystem. He has worked with organisations including ITC Ltd., Indian Society of Agribusiness Professionals (ISAP), Samunnati Financial Intermediation & Services Pvt. Ltd., and Global AgriSystem Pvt. Ltd. His experience covers FPO strengthening, commodity trade and procurement, market linkages, financial linkages, value-chain development, capacity building, monitoring and evaluation, and multi-stakeholder programme management.

During his tenure as Deputy General Manager at Global AgriSystem Pvt. Ltd., he was involved in consulting and development assignments covering socio-economic evaluations, impact assessments, rural development interventions, FPO programmes, baseline studies, and multi-stakeholder partnerships involving NGOs, corporates, government agencies and community institutions. Earlier, through his work with Samunnati and ISAP, he strengthened FPOs and facilitated financial and market linkages. His professional achievements include strengthening 25 FPCs, facilitating financing ranging from ₹5 lakh to ₹3 crore, facilitating a ₹15 crore cotton trade, and supporting FPOs covering more than 30,000 farmers through his earlier development-sector work. His experience across the agriculture ecosystem has given him exposure to both field-level implementation and institutional consulting, enabling him to understand the practical challenges involved in designing, implementing, monitoring and scaling agriculture and allied-sector programmes.
